As we come towards the end of the academic year we are used to preparing the College for one of our key events – Speech Day. As we are all too aware, this year will be quite different. We are living through historic times and as such are unable to gather in Central Hall to mark the end of the Summer Term in the traditional manner.
It would be remiss of us not to mark the occasion in some way. Hence, continuing our efforts to create virtual experiences for pupils and parents, we will be presenting a ‘Virtually Live’ Speech Day on Friday 26th June at 2:30pm.
This will entail the traditional speeches as we take you on a visual journey through the year. A year that started with the whole community coming together for the College’s 125th Celebrations and ended with us being kept apart due to Corvid 19.
Usually we are limited in numbers by the physical capacity of Central Hall, but one advantage of this virtual experience is the ability for everyone to join the celebrations.
We cordially invite you to;
Campbell College ‘Virtually Live’
Speech Day 2020 on
Friday 26th June
@ 2:30pm
The link to our ‘Virtually Live’ presentation will go live at 2:30pm on Friday 26th June (wifi permitting!) and can be accessed via our news pages on this Community Hub.
Whilst it will not be the same as gathering together, we encourage you to take the afternoon off, dress up and make an occasion of it. Maybe even indulge in some strawberries and cream in true Campbell College style.
We thank-you again for all your support this year and look forward to returning to a degree of normality in the new academic year.
