Pupils, staff, and parents at Campbell College are celebrating an exceptional set of GCSE results today, reflecting sustained academic strength, individual dedication, and the College’s unwavering commitment to excellence.

The 2026 cohort of 144 students has demonstrated outstanding effort, achieving high performance across core academic subjects and creative disciplines.

Today’s results show the highest ever percentage of A* grades (12%), retention of our highest A*-A performance from last year (40%) and the highest number of sixth form scholarships ever awarded across the College.

These results showcase the strength of Campbell’s tailored, all-boys learning environment, which supports every young man in reaching his full potential.

This particular set of results shines a light on our commitment to helping every pupil reach their potential and we are very proud to support a diverse range of learners.  the added value delivered through high-quality teaching, strong pastoral care, and a learning environment tailored to boys’ development.

Headmaster of Campbell College, Jonathan Anderson said: "Congratulations to every one of our boys receiving their GCSE results today. These outcomes are a direct reflection of their hard work, resilience, and commitment to excellence over the past two years, alongside the steadfast guidance of our teaching staff and the support of their families.

"While we take immense pride in these strong academic results, at Campbell, our ethos has always been to add value and to educate beyond qualification. Examinations are a crucial milestone, but true success lies in character, leadership and the lifelong values instilled on and off the campus.

“These results mark another step in Campbell’s trajectory of academic growth, with strong performances across STEM, modern languages, humanities, and the arts. The College looks forward to welcoming the cohort back into Sixth Form next week to begin their A-Level and BTEC studies.”
