General News

We are delighted to welcome Mr Jonathan Anderson as the new Headmaster of Campbell College.

Mr Anderson joins us with a distinguished career in education, having previously served as Headmaster of Merchiston Castle School in Edinburgh, Senior Deputy Head at Worksop College in Nottinghamshire, and Housemaster at Christ’s Hospital School in West Sussex.

A native of Northern Ireland, Mr Anderson studied Geography at Queen’s University Belfast before embarking on a teaching career that has spanned nearly three decades. His journey through some of the UK’s leading independent schools has been defined by a commitment to academic excellence and a deep understanding of pastoral care, values that resonate strongly with the ethos of Campbell College.

His appointment marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Campbell, one rooted in tradition yet looking confidently to the future. Mr Anderson’s leadership is set to build on the strong foundations laid by Mr Robert Robinson MBE, whose 13-year tenure saw the College flourish in both academic achievement and community spirit.

We are confident that Mr Anderson will guide Campbell College into its next phase with vision, warmth, and a commitment to holistic education. His arrival signals a renewed focus on nurturing every pupil’s potential, while celebrating the values that make our school so special.

Please join us in welcoming Mr Anderson and his family to the Campbell Community.
