It has been week 1 of the summer break and while teachers and pupils are enjoying their summer holidays, staff on campus are busier than ever! This week, our teams have been hard at work as we have hosted a number of visitors at Campbell. We began with the Ulster Rugby girls' U18s team training over the weekend followed by the boys' U16s during the week. We have also seen the Cricket Ireland U15 and 17 teams training by the pavilion. It has been a very active week!
The Front of House area of school is undergoing a transformation, with work planned to replace the carpeting and for the walls to be repainted. Dust sheets are now covering the furniture and wood and works of art have been placed in storage. You will see from the photo above that painting preparation has now started!
The boys' JCR is also being completely refurbished. Mr Harper, Head of Facilities explained that the kitchen is being replaced, the room painted and the flooring will also be replaced. As you will see from the photos, the kitchen has been removed and flooring has been lifted. The JCR is also going to look very different when our pupils return at the end of the summer!
We have provided a few photos in our gallery and will bring you more on these refurbishments over the next few weeks.
