In this final summer post we are delighted to share a final update on the refurbishment of the Junior Common Room. Led by our Facilities Manager Mr. Wayne Harper in partnership with Sodexo and the maintenance team of Brian, Michael and Roy, work began behind the scenes last February to help create the new space. Mr Harper explains more about the planning and design in this video clip:
As you can see, the JCR is now much brighter and fresh new furnishings add to the ambience of the room. Mr Harper and his assistant Jaqueline worked hard to bring softer colours into the room, choosing the flooring and seat colours to complement the freshness of the white walls. We have provided a series of photos taken over the summer to show you the transformation. I think you will agree Mr Harper and his team have made a big difference! Everything is ready for our pupils returning next week, we hope the boys will enjoy their new space.
