We are delighted to invite Old Campbellians, parents, staff and friends of the College to create a lasting legacy in their own name, or in the name of a loved one, by sponsoring a brick in the CCB Supporters’ Wall of our new state-of-the-art Sports Centre.
By sponsoring a brick, you will not only become part of the fabric of the College, you will also support our £30 million Building for the Future campus vision, which aims to build a sustainable future for generations to come.
You can sponsor a brick for £1,000 as a one-off payment or in phased instalments, by clicking the button below. Scroll down to read our terms & conditions, and if you have any further questions please contact the Development Office on 02890 763076 or email: development@campbellcollege.co.uk
In return for pledging £1000 in support of our Sponsor a Brick Campaign, Old Campbellians, parents, staff and friends of the College are invited to have their name and either years attended, or Old Campbellian number, or House name inscribed on a brick as part of our CCB Supporters' Wall at the entrance to the newly refurbished Sports Centre, for example:
Line 1: ‘John Smith'
Line 2: ‘1969 – 1976’, or 'OC 01234', or 'Alden's'
CCB also allow teams, houses and clubs to sponsor a brick, e.g.
Line 1: '1stXV Rugby', or 'Allison’s House', or 'CCB Cricket Club'
Line 2: 1980 - 1981
A pledge of £1000 entitles the donor to a single brick with 2 lines of text. The maximum number of characters on each line, including spaces, is restricted to 16.
With the exception of families who can be recorded as ‘The X Family’ e.g. Line 1:‘The Smith and Line 2: ‘Family’, inscriptions must be the names of individuals only - not companies, organisations, etc.
To maintain a consistent format across all bricks, we are unable to facilitate pre-nominal titles or post-nominal letters alongside your name.
If purchasing multiple bricks, they should have different individual names.
CCB reserves the right to approve all lettering and to refuse any application considered unsuitable. In such cases CCB has no obligation to cite a reason and a full refund will be offered.
Engraving of the Bricks will be done by a specialist engraver but names will not be painted - so as to retain the historical look and feel of the College environment.
Donors do not receive a brick. It will be installed on the wall at the entrance to the newly refurbished Sports Buildings and all bricks remain the property of CCB.
CCB will have complete control over the location and installation date of the bricks.
CCB guarantees to maintain the wall for the lifespan of the building, however the bricks may become worn or damaged over time owing to natural causes. No liability can be accepted for this by CCB.
Every effort will be made to keep the bricks in the chosen location, however CCB reserves the right to move or relocate the bricks without liability.
Any amendments to the name provided on the order form must be made within 14 days of purchase; thereafter CCB accepts no responsibility for changed or incorrect names.
Bricks may differ in colour from those illustrated.
