Our popular Parents’ Book Group will meet in the library on the evening of Wednesday 18th April. The main book for discussion is James, by Percival Everett. A familiar story told from a different perspective, this title was shortlisted for the Booker Prize, and is described as ‘incandescent’ by the New York Times.
We have a second title for discussion too, in case you’ve already read our main title – or in case you wish to read two: The Warm Hands of Ghosts, by Katherine Arden, a hauntingly beautiful historical novel from the bestselling author of The Bear and the Nightingale.
We hope you will be able to join us – we’re a friendly and relaxed bunch, and new members are always welcome.
