Starting the 'big school' journey can be a daunting experience - not only for boys, but for their parents too. At Campbell, we believe in the strength of community and this year we hosted our inaugural Welcome Barbecue which was attended by over 180 Year 8 parents and guardians. They were joined by Headmaster Jonathan Anderson, himself a Campbell 'new boy', as well as several senior members of staff.
The unpredicatable weather necessitated a move indoors to the Dining Hall, where the talented catering team provided a selection of delicious food and drinks in front of the fire. Musical entertainment was provided by three very talented pianists: Lucas (Year 13), Jude (Year 11) and Xander (Year 11) who got the eveing off to a flying start.
With new connections made and friendships formed, we hope this will be the first of many such gatherings. Thanks to all those who attended - see the gallery below for more photos.
