We recently reported on our language students' cultural immersion trip to Berlin. Our Year 10 rugby pupils, accompanied by Mr Ledwich, Mr Hall, Mr Ashfield and Mr Farr were also in Berlin where they enjoyed both playing and the cultural experience in the city. Pupils played in a tournament featuring series of competitive match ups with other European teams, training sessions and visited areas around the city. Pupils also spent time with a host family for a few days and Mr Farr was a great tour guide providing historical context to the landmarks visited. We met with Henry and Elijah, two players who took part in the trip, to discuss their experiences with us.
It sounds like a wonderful experience for our pupils. Many thanks to our teachers and to Elijah and Henry for taking the time to speak with us!
