A visit to Titanic Belfast was eagerly anticipated by our Prep 5 historians. The museum itself was fascinating, filled with amazing facts about the Titanic; how it was built, what the cabins looked like, the people who built it, as well as connecting this incredible piece of engineering to the city of Belfast itself.
An interactive workshop, facilitated by Madeline from Kathleen's Attic, further enhanced their learning. After a fascinating presentation and fast-paced Q&A session, our keen Prep 5 historians enjoyed examining a range of interesting and unusual objects from the time of the Titanic.
They also loved learning more about the different social classes on the Titanic, by trying on a range of clothing, hats and accessories from that era.
Getting into character as First Class passengers, enjoying a little stroll and breathing in the bracing sea air on the Promenade Deck, also proved popular!
