The campus was buzzing with renewed energy last weekend! We began with the sold out Spring Concert in Central Hall with performances from our Bands, Rock group, Sixth Form Band, String Ensemble and choirs. Guests were greeted by the Pipe Band when they arrived, it truly was an event not to be missed! More to come on that event soon.

On Saturday, the hockey teams took to the fields on a glorious spring day. Students from U12s up to the 1st XI team competed in a handicap round robin style tournament organized by Coach Damian Styles. Pupils played in pink shirts to show their support for Pretty n Pink breast cancer charity chosen by the teams and is the only registered Breast Cancer Charity in Northern Ireland.

Teams playing against a stronger team started with a +2 or +4 goal start to even out the competition. Cups were awarded by the Headmaster and coaches also awarded Easter Egg prizes to players who had a strong contribution on the field.

It was wonderful to see so many parents back on campus too and a huge thank you to all the parents who helped with refreshements! All funds raised from the sales of drinks and baked goods will be donated to Pretty n Pink. Thank you also to Leanne from Pretty n Pink for joining us on Saturday and helping serve our parents and players.

Photos from the day can be found in the Media Gallery (you must be logged into the hub to see the gallery)
